No matter what storm clouds may rock this ship of mine,
The light of my Savior leads me safely through the night.
Though my ship may be rocky and my sails may be torn,
I shall rest in the eye of the storm.
My ship is being rocked but I will rest in the eye of the storm.
This was sung yesterday at church and it resonated with me.
I believe that Jesus will guide me through the night.
God is great in the earth.
His wonders never cease.
I am in awe of his goodness.
What has God done for you today?
For me, God has directed me and rerouted me. He’s my guide. And I appreciate him.
There are days when it feels like nothing is going right.
For example, I have been experiencing setback when I send documents for processing. I only see them being returned without being read or requiring minute (unnecessary) changes. On those days, I take my lunch hour seriously. I use the time to detach from work and life. I allow my mind to be free from stress.
What do I do? Watch a comedy online.
You see, when I feel frustrated, its hard for me to hear from Daddy. But when the lunch hour is up, I get back to work with an open mind. That is when I see Daddy showing me what to do.
So, they are asking me to point out something specific? Daddy’s instruction: they didn’t read the document so send it back and point out the sentence that answers/clarifies the matter.
Moral of the story: I no longer try to figure out problems on my own. I turn to my heavenly father who wants to instruct me and guide me (Psalm 32:8).
Yesterday, I told Daddy that I am leaving a particular situation to him as I had done my part and I refuse to push further than required.
Then, I went to sleep and got two dreams about implementing a programme and something else. Basically, Daddy told me what my next steps should be.
Let me be honest, I would not have approached the situation how Daddy showed me. Now, I’m able to think rationally about the next steps and be confident that Daddy will continue to guide me.
There’s a song that says, “God provides, so why do I worry about me life…”
Not only does he provide, he prepares.
God prepares us at times for shocking situations.
He let’s us to be ready for attacks yet to be launched against us.
He prepares us to undergo a mindset change.
He prepares us for our destiny.
He tells us how to respond to hate and being used/abused.
He shows us how to be like him.
No matter what the situation is….He prepares us.
