180 Days of Boasting about God – Day 177

There’s one experience with God that will never get old…

Jesus died for my sins. He became my Saviour and Redeemer.

When I didn’t see a better life ahead of me, Jesus died to rescue me. I am who I am and where I am because of Jesus.

180 Days of Boasting about God – Day 165

No matter what storm clouds may rock this ship of mine,
The light of my Savior leads me safely through the night.
Though my ship may be rocky and my sails may be torn,
I shall rest in the eye of the storm.

My ship is being rocked but I will rest in the eye of the storm.

This was sung yesterday at church and it resonated with me.

I believe that Jesus will guide me through the night.

180 Days of Boasting about God – Day 89

For I am conscious of my transgressions and I acknowledge them; My sin is always before me.
Psalms 51:3 AMP

There are some sin that we forget we ever committed. But then there are others which plague our minds day and night. Acts of disobedience that we regret and always feel unforgiven for doing.

Though we may feel like this, let me open door number 89 and reveal a next aspect of God.

He doesn’t care about the sin. He honours the repentance. He doesn’t recall the mistakes. He loves the corrective measures taken. But his word said it best of all.

As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
Psalms 103:12 AMP

If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with His will and purpose].
1 John 1:9 AMP
